Abstract

Some of the Orbitoides tests from various localities of Turkey (Hekimhan, Darende, Osmaneli, Bolu) show tunnels of microboring activity. The samples from Bolu and Darende contain a rotaliid (? Talpinella cunicularia Baumfalk, Fortuin and Mok), probably a parasitic form, in the equatorial chamberlets and embryonic stage. This is the first time that this has been found in Turkey.
