Descriptions and remarks

Diagnosis: Grooves on armours from Fergana have a gently sloping bottom and are from 0,18 to 0,5 mm or a little more wide, but width is usually around 0,3-0,4 mm. Grooves are straight or curved, more often continuous, occasionally intermittent; idividual or forming parallel systems. The groups of parallel grooves can be quite densely located, being oriented in diferent directions. Another common type – is curving and often interwined relatively long grooves. Between these grooves a shorter depressions may be located. Ends of the grooves are either gently narrowed or abruptly cut off.

We give a description of the most typical samples with images.
